As you have mention that the drivers are not compatible with Windows 10. Let’s install the USB TV tuner in compatibility mode and check if it helps. Follow the steps provided below:

1. Download the drivers from the manufacturer’s website.

2. Right-click on the installer and click on 'Properties'.

3. Click on the ‘compatibility’ tab and check the box 'Run this program in compatibility mode for” and select previous Operating System from the drop down.

4. Click on ‘Apply’ and click ‘OK’ and run the file to install it.

I indicated in my post that the drivers installed automatically in windows 8, and the manufacturer doesn't support it so there are no drivers beyond windows 7 on their website. I found some posts about this with other suggested drivers which didn't work, I then used compatibility mode for them and it said windows 7 mode, installed the drivers but they don't work for this device 9 they are generic TV tuner drivers). What I need is to locate the driver in windows 8 and use compatibility mode. Will it still be there somewhere in 'windows Old'?

also need some basic freeware player software-Media Portal is bloated and slows the computer, unless anyone knows how to use it in a cut down mode, or any other freeware to replace media centre?
