CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. — With just a week to go before the start of school, Brevard Public Schools are looking to fill 70 positions. Brevard County Public Schools looking to fill 70 teaching.

In 2013, there were 65,611 traffic citations issued in Brevard County. Of those, 15,023 were speeding violations. Speeding is one of the risk factors that causes accidents. Most crashes in Titusville, Palm Bay, and Melbourne happen in broad daylight and when the weather condition is clear. This is why law enforcement is needed to help keep drivers safer on the Florida roadways.

You must make a payment within 30 days from the date the citation was issued. The following methods are accepted:

• Online: If you have access to the internet, you can make a payment anywhere by going to the online payment system.
• By mail: You can send your payment by mail to P.O. Box 919026, Orlando, FL 32891-9026.
• In person: Visit one of the locations below to submit your payment.
• Amscot: Amscot will accept traffic payments at all of their locations in Brevard County.
