Spike Chunsoft has delayed the New Japan Pro Wrestling collaboration downloadable content for the PC version of Fire Pro Wrestling World from its previously planned August 28 release date to sometime in September.
The director of Fire Pro Wrestling World (Fire Pro W), Tomoaki Matsumoto, drinks with other Fire Pro-loving guests and talks about the game in this segment.For the commemorative first match, Takashi Kobayashi (ZEX) and Toshiaki Tamura (ZEX), the development producer and development director of FPW, join the fray.The talk gets heated as the key members of the development team appear right off.
Here is the full message from the Fire Pro Wrestling World development team announcing the delay:
We are very sorry to announce that the PC release of the NJPW Collaboration DLC has been pushed back to September.
Originally we planned to release the DLC on the same day as the North American PS4 edition.

However, the PS4 port took longer than expected, which impacted the PC development schedule.
Rather than rush the DLC out the door to meet the PS4 release, we have decided it is better to spend a few more weeks on the PC version to ensure a quality build at launch.
This was not an easy decision. The PC community has supported us since Day 1 and we do not want to keep you waiting for the new NJPW content that you deserve.
The team is working to release the PC version ASAP. We are aiming for September and will let you know once we have a solid date.
